The DB4 Volante was introduced at the 1961 Earls Court Motor Show and was used Tadek Marek's revolutionary new 3.7 litre, six-cylinder twin overhead camshaft, all alloy engine just as with the saloon introduced 3 years earlier in 1958.  These cars were truly the supercars of their day and priced at the top of the market with Bentley’s. The car was designed by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan and continued to be the basis of the more modern DB5’s and DB6’s.
