This was the car that arguably spawned a new type of luxury 4×4 vehicle perhaps with the exception of the Jeep Grande Cherokee. However, unlike the Jeep, the Range Rover went on to greater things and is now the undoubted King of the luxury 4×4 and rather better value than the recently introduced Bentley Bentayga. These first Range Rover’s are now collector’s items and appreciating rapidly.
